When you are applying for entry clearance visa application into the UK, you may be asked to obtain an independent assessment of proposed accommodation. This is to ensure that a property is safe, in a good state of repair and doesn't pose a health and safety risk. It will also assess whether the property would become overcrowded if any more people were to move in.

When preparing an Accommodation report for immigration purposes, we need following personal information:  

- The visa applicant details: Name, date of birth and passport number. 

- Sponsor's details: Name, date of birth and his/ her relation with visa applicant.

- Other people's living in the property (if any): Name and date of birth and their relation with visa applicant. 

At the time of Accommodation Inspection: 

- When carrying out a Property Inspection the following matters will be assessed:

- Does the property have a sufficient number of rooms of adequate sizes so that the property will not become statutorily overcrowded if more people were to move in?

- Fit for human habitation and meets health and safety criteria of the property

- Is free from Category 1 and 2 Hazards in Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS)

The property inspection report can be used for any type of visa application where you need to provide evidence of adequate accommodation.
